On August 23, 2023, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism announced that it would begin accepting applications for the “Subsidy for Safety Measures for Small Passenger Ships” to subsidize companies introducing improved life rafts or other buoyant apparatuses for small passenger ships. As we had been developing an “improved lifesaving buoyant apparatus with an outer frame” that is eligible for the subsidy, we announced that effect on the same day.
